Hello fellow traveler citizens! Looking forward to meeting all of you as we share the ride to DC on the American Dream. I'm from Marietta, a mother of 2 and grandmther of 4. I'm a professional who's employed full time and a dog lover. I can't make the Wed night meeting, but I'll see you on the 12th! DC or Bust

I am a hiker. I pack out for days at a time. Having said that, I can recommend some good survival techniques for a long day.
Water - should go without saying. Bring plenty. I would not worry about bring that much on hte bus. Water can be gotten at any Food mart and we will have some next to the hotel.

Go to Dick's or REI and pick up some hiker's energy bars. They are packed with energy and truly filling. I have lived on nothing but them for days on end and did absolutely great. Put 4 or 5 in your day pack and you will be safe.

Extra pair of sock in your day pack. Nothing feels better mid-day than a fresh pair of socks.

Collapsible umbrella - Has three purposes. First to shield you from the rain, if that happens, Second to do the same from the blaring sun and finally, it can be used for a defensive weapon if the need arises.

Hi All,
I will bring Browines for the pot luck lunch. I am a mother of 2, wife of 1, a full time speech pathologist, part time lots of other interests. Considered a Constitutional Cougar and looking forward to this weekend with all of my new friends! Don't think I will be there Wed. for sure will see you Friday! :shock: Andrea B.

Just a heads up, there will be plenty of water, at least 10 cases have been purchased for each bus and bring a lunch finger food to share with five others, just for fun, there will be plenty that way

Hi, I am bringing my BBQ Snack mix to share with American Dream riders. I am really excited about the 912 March. Like many of you this is my first protest march ever. Looking forward to meeting yall. Lets go out & let 'em know who they used to work for! :shock:
