North Georgia 9-12 is accepting donations so that we can send care packages to our troops in Iraq & Afghanistan. Our care package contains items like beef jerky, trail mix, snacks, sweets, hand warmers, razors, sunscreen, chapstick and many other items. We are really excited to have this opportunity! Please donate if you can. All donations for this effort will be used towards letting our troops know that we appreciate that they are fighting for our freedom.

We would also like to include letters from our members. The names of the soldiers that we've been assigned are: Edward, Elizabeth, John, Monique & Walter. You can tell them first hand how thankful you are for their service. If you are not able to donate at this time but would still like to send a letter of thanks; please send an email to info@northgeorgia912.com. We look forward to including these letters in our care packages.

Letter on the Glenn Beck Show!!!!

Postby Whrlwnd13 » 07 Dec 2009 22:53

Today on his radio show, Glenn Beck read a letter from one of the soldiers in Afghanistan that we sent a care package to. It's a great letter we're glad, not only that we got mentioned on Glenn's show but, that we had the opportunity to make a difference to this soldier and those serving with him.

Woohoo!

I am glad you shared this for the opportunity to praise this group and learn something too. Did I hear correctly on that clip that our fighting men who take an oath to defend the Constitution have no or little knowledge of what it says?

If you go to this web site, http://www.LetsSayThanks.com, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.

You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.
Thanks for taking to time to support our military!
