Will Brown's win be a gift to the Dems?

How do you feel about Govt healthcare? The proposed system will take the decisons away from you and your provider and put them in the hands of Govt bureaucrats.

Will Brown's win be a gift to the Dems?

I don't know if Brown will pull it off today. I am glued to the tube. But I can't help thinking that if he does, it could be a gift to the democrats. So what is driving my thinking? Answer :1994.

I bet people like Ben Nelson and Mary Landreu are breathing a sigh of relief, along with the less than hard left types. I think most knew that if health care legislation were to pass, it would be a suicide pact for the democrat party with congressmen from redish states to be the first to jump off the cliff. For all I know, Obama may be relieved. He has an excuse for not passing health care. It would makle him a three time looser but having health care pass might even be worse for him.

If Brown is elected, the Senate will be forced to work with the GOP. That means that the bills will have to be much more concervative and matched by spending cuts. In other words, we may end up with a government that starts to get out of the way of business and the economy grows. If the economy grows, Obama wins. He may say that his administration is all about Health care and Cap & Trade but America is grading him on the economy e.g. jobs. With a filabuster proof Senate and the strong message sent to the dems today, the GOP may become much bigger players at the table. And of course, there is November.

I expect the GOP will take at least one house in November - possibly both. Wall Street loves grid lock but prefers consevatives over liberals (except in 2008). A jamed up congress is a predictable congress. That is all Wall Street wants and needs - predictability.

I, for one, do not think Obama is in control of the Whitehouse. I think he is a puppet for George Soros, Andy Sterns and others. He may even be in deep with Arab nations. But if he has a renegade congress, he can use that as an excuse for not doing their bidding. I don't think Soros or Stern care if Obama fails in the long run as long as they get what they want in the short run. Obama is expendable!

Brown Wins Mass Senate Race!!!

52 to 46% (with 93% reporting at this time)

I fear that the leftists in congress will push full steam ahead and will add biofuel to the fire, to get their socialist agenda passed before November. They know their days are numbered!

WOW!!! What a night! I feel so energized at this win in Massachusetts! I was a bit worried when all day, during the news, they kept pumping it up! I was worried that it would backfire! THANK GOD, it didnt!

I found it surprising how many independents are actually in Massachusetts... SOOO happy that the people of Mass are awake.

I truly believe that Obama's policies has woken up the sleeping giant. We are no longer the Silent Majority. We are standing up! We are going to be heard!

The naive side of me is hoping that this SHOT around the nation will be heard loud and clear by the White House! Hopefully, Obama, will do as Clinton did, and change course for the betterment of the nation. I can hope!

I fear that they will really start ramming now that they dont have the filibuster-proof super majority. However, I also feel that there will be a true revolution if they start their shaningans and try to stop Brown from being certifed.

We will keep up the fight! I see a trip to DC in our future!
Have a blessed day!!!

I think you may be right, but I also feel that a lot of the Liberals who thought their jobs were safe may be rethinking their stance on health care reform, cap in trade, and other misguided socialist programs they are wanting to push. I think there will be backlashes in the Democratic Party with a Republican now in Massachusetts.
